Back to Scribbling

Its surprising to find how inactive you can be when you check the date of your last scribbled post. Almost a year has passed by and it seems like I published that post just yesterday.

In this pretty much span of time (12 months), tried out a couple of new things - but nothing radical. A couple of new projects - but none of em have reached any of the milestones.

So the good part of it - am back to scribbling again ;-) till a new project engages me.

Championing the open internet cause

Wikipedia support for anti-SOPA crusaders. A blackout page for 24 hours.  Real nice design ;-)  The shadow effect used beautifully.  And it should have its due impact. (Now only if the Wikipedia donation appeal ads were that classy ;-).

Single window GIMP

A snapshot preview of portable Gimp 2.7.3 (PreRelease Dev version). Ah single window - it rocks.
Tried out some operations - text tool seems to be crashing. But I can't wait to get the release version.
Kudos to the Gimp & Portable Apps Team ! Great work.
